We have some big news, and his name is Steve Prebble! Steve is officially the new CEO here at Extu.
Prebble has had decades of experience in building and growing companies all over the world in the retail, tech, and data realms. He’s well-versed in retail operations, merchandising, SaaS platforms, loyalty marketing, and CRM. His last gig was CEO of Appriss Retail – a data/analytics SaaS for large retail companies. He also pulled off a big feat in this role, successfully combining four separate businesses into a single, global operation.
“Steve understands the critical importance of comprehensive customer data and analytics to today’s marketers, and we believe that his decades of experience in this space will be a competitive advantage to Extu,” said Kevin Johnson, Partner at Capstreet, the investment firm partnered with Extu.
“It’s an exciting time to join Extu, as the company further invests in the technology and solutions that marketers need to improve customer loyalty and increase sales in a competitive market,” said Mr. Prebble.
Former CEO Mark Herbert, who will remain on the Extu board of directors and act as leadership transition supervisor, said, “I am excited to welcome Steve to Extu and I am confident he is the right person to write the next chapter in the company’s story. I look forward to working with him to implement the company’s strategic growth initiatives.”
