About William

William Shida serves as President & Chief Operating Officer of Extu, where he leads Finance, Operations, HR, Legal, and cross-functional execution to ensure the company’s strategic plans translate into measurable results. With deep operational experience in scaling financial and operational systems, William plays a critical role in aligning resources and processes to support growth and execution excellence.

Prior to his current role, William served as Extu’s Chief Financial Officer, where he oversaw financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. He was instrumental in supporting the company’s transition to a platform-led business model and helped drive fiscal discipline that enabled strategic investments in product, scale, and service delivery.
